Monte da Apariça is the perfect scenario for those who enjoy nature and outdoor activities.

We have available to our guests an outdoor swimming pool, 2 riding arenas, 4 horse boxes, bicycles, kayaks and fishing gear, all-terrain jeep, full and high quality birdwatching equipment (Swarovski), as well as 2 hides for picture-taking. Which of these nature activities do you prefer?   

By appointment, the following activities can be held:

» VISIT THE HERDADE AND ITS AGRICULTURAL AND CATTLE BREEDING ACTIVITIES ON AN ALL-TERRAIN JEEP (offer included in stay);

» HIKING (offer included in stay);

» BICYCLES (offer included in stay);

» FISHING: rental of equipment and escort to site (20€/person/day);

» CANOEING (25€/person/half-day);

» PICNIC IN THE COUNTRY: basket with several delicacies from the Alentejo region, having as basis the Mertolenga meat produced in the Herdade –meat pasties, croquettes, Mertolenga meat hamburgers, Alentejo bread, etc. (25€/person, minimum 2 persons);

» HIDES (100€/day/person; 60€/half-day/person);

» DRIVE IN ALL TERRAIN JEEP FOR BIRDWATCHING/NATURE WATCHING: 50 to 200 km (200€ up to 2 persons; 250€ up to 4 persons).
